I've mentioned this before, but if you are new to Chasing Bargains, the greatest bargain, that I have NO regrets in buying…… YOUR BABY CAN READ!
I started my daughter at 16 weeks, by 13mths she was 'reading' ear and pointing to her ear when she saw the word, by 18mths she was fluent in the program, by 2–she still blows my mind and those around us by reading signs in the stores. Most recently at her 2nd birthday part, she was reading the word HAPPY and after I went over Birthday with her a couple times, she is reading Birthday, too. The program has helped develop her speech and desire to read!! She'd rather sit and read a book then stare blankly at the TV (PRAISE!!!).
I am a super motivated Mommy that wants her kids to embrace reading, that means so much to me and to their Dad! My husband grew up in the local school system and was highly disappointed in the way the teach. Sadly, due to the lack of this early start (my opinion), he is not a big reader and is very TV focused. We decided that my JOB would be to save the money, work the farm and raise and educate our children.
Before our daughter was born, we invested $130 in this complete program, with books, flash cards and DVDs. We have worn all of the stuff out and continue the program with our son, that is just 10mths old. Our son has been 'clapping' at the word, for about a month now and just started shaking his head 'no' when the DVD mentions it!
No regrets………. NONE!

(additionally–I am not a tax expert, but educational stuff is supposed to be tax deductible –so keep that in mind and ask your tax person!).

I'm excited to bring these new video's into our home and to share with you our results. I believe in saving in every avenue that I can, but I want the best for my kids and their future is worth so much more, with the advancement of their desires to learn and the ability that my babies are already showing!!! I sacrifice in some areas…..but not in this one, because I still see this as a major investment….. worthy of a piece of our tax refund!!!
