Chasing Bargains………..

Have you ever gone to the store and stood behind someone that was using coupons and it seemed like a painful ordeal?  I have.  I thought there is no way that I would go to all that work for pennies, nickles or even a dollar…..and then,  I saved $5 on baby formula AND used a formula check to save ANOTHER $11 on it.  WOW $16 and I didn't even try!

So, I looked a little further and found out that I could use a store coupon, a manufacturer coupon AND that formula check and saved $21 on a $22 container of formula!  I just bought a HUGE CAN for $1!!  NOW THAT is worth a fill at the gas station!  I just fed my baby AND filled my car for the same amount of money that I HAD to spend, so, YES it was worth it……and with the help of blogs, it is quite simple to step into huge savings!

I happen to be the sister in law to the Bargain Believing, Juli at www.bargainbeliever.com (who made me a believer)and, of course, that makes me the sister to her computer savvy husband, who generously helped me set up Chasing Bargains after I told them I was hooked on sharing savings.

So welcome to Chasing Bargains, where I am Chasing Bargains for us.  While Bargain Believer is geared towards AZ, but extremely useful nationwide, I wanted a blog geared towards my home in Rapid City, SD and Mid Westerners, but useful by all.

God always provides and has blessed me to be a stay at home/ranch Mom with two babies, one born in 2010 and one in 2011, I also tend to 5 Mini Aussies, severa Arabian Horses and California Variegated Mutant Sheep, at our Farm… Chase N It Farm.  My husband is a hard working National Guardsman, that gives selflessly to our country, although I will tell you, military lifestyles is something to salute, for all the absentees, the sacrifice, I have a new respect for military families.  I have found that we do have access to a lot of bargains, as a result of the military, and I thank those companies for respecting our service and sacrifices.  On the other spectrum, we have a lot of mouths to feed and a very limited budget to make monthly ends meet.  With the use of coupons, and bargains, I have found that I still can get everyone fed, clothed AND put a couple bucks in the college jars.

So, please bookmark us and visit frequently. Sign up to get notifications of posts, once per day, by signing up under my logo (affectionately called "Mama", by my little girl).

Here's to……………..Chasing Bargains (and finding them!)

I have found amazing deals, but the greatest bargain that I have received is the free gift of salvation through Jesus.  I didn’t spend a dime and gained eternity in heaven.  Now that’s a deal! (paraphrase of words written by Juli at Bargain Believer, AMEN SISTA!)
